THE SENSORY SPECTRUM
2023
The Sensory Spectrum is a ten-part webcam self-portrait series examining how sensory and sexual experience is mediated through digital images. Five works correspond to the classical senses, while five focus on the genital area as a site shaped by gendered and sexual meaning. Using the screen as both mirror and interface, the series considers how the body is flattened, fragmented, and reconstructed through digital modes of viewing.
